Jordan Peel's Us
Collaborated with the Creative Director to design and execute the creative pitch which was reviewed and chosen by Universal Studios to be the official website for Jordan Peele's Us. Once Powster won the rights to build the official website, I began researching marketing material available online.
While endlessly watching the one trailer available, I discovered a common theme. 11:11 Appears multiple times throughout the trailer in multiple forms. Universal and the film makers were very impressed with my incorporation of the 11:11 symbology in the wireframes and rough designs as the loading screen.
What is Jeremiah 11:11 exactly? From the King James Bible, it reads: “Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.”
A variety of marketing materials was launched for Jordan Peele’s Us, I chose to highlight the creative materials that was most recently released playing with the two sides of one character.
